Property History: Archival research indicates that little if any modern exploration for mineral deposits has been completed in this part of Madagascar. The BRGM worked a sulphide occurrence at Besakoa located a few kilometers north of the Green Giant Property. They completed geological, geochemical and geophysical surveys as well as drilling a number of holes (18) that intersected VMS style mineralization. Majescor Resources drilled 8 additional holes in the area in 2006 with the best returning 21.5 meters averaging 0.7% Cu, 0.5 g/t Au, 1.1% Zn and 21.4 g/t Ag.
Previous Work Completed: Energizer Resources has completed an extensive mechanical trenching program of 8,156 metres in August 2009 and completed a 31 hole drill program in 2008. The Property has undergone, airborne geophysics, ground geophysics, regional geochemistry, detailed soil sampling, with geological mapping complete. Initial ground based exploration on the Green Giant Property was conducted with the intent of evaluating the potential of the property to host various styles of mineralization. A grass roots exploration program consisting of property wide stream sediment sampling, a satellite imagery study, detailed and regional scale geological mapping, litho-geochemical sampling, soil sampling and trenching have been completed by the Company in 2007 and 2008. Late 2008, the Company discovered vanadium and has since put all subsequent efforts into defining a world-class vanadium deposit. An airborne geophysical survey over a large area encompassing the property was completed in late 2007 with the data from this survey driving the 2008 exploration work.
Current Work Program: Approximately 8,000 metres of diamond drilling on defined targets that were established from the extensive trenching program just completed in August 2009. The Company has identified a continuous, mineralized trend of vanadium approximately 18 kilometres long, displaying unusually wide widths and with a high-grade core. Energizer Resources is targeting a minimum 200 million tonne deposit. Additional metallurgy and mineralogy is underway.
